Welcome to daechwita, a Min Yoongi FanZine
This fanzine is dedicated to our BTS rapper, Min Yoongi. Daechwita is based on the MV with the same name released by Min Yoongi in his second mixtape D2. The theme will be inspired by this MV, specifically dedicated to King Yoongi. Traditional Korean clothing, long hair, and many more attributes related to Korean history.
The whole Zine will focus on Min Yoongi, thus meaning there will no be any specific sections. As we want to solely focus on AgustD and his MV. Daechwita aims to include a total of 20 artists, 6 writers and 4 merch artists. Keep in mind that all pieces will be SFW, non-romantic and can include other BTS members, being Suga the main focus.
Daechwita will be an A5 zine, and we will look forward to including different types of merch and options for you to choose.

Applications
This Zine will consist of 20 artists, 6 writers and 4 merch artists. There are no sections, meaning the whole zine is focused on Daechwita Yoongi. You will be able to add other members to your drawings or fics, but keep in mind that the focus of this zine is Yoongi.
artists we will ask you to provide a portfolio (google drive folder, twitter moment or thread, Instagram, Tumblr hashtag...) that is properly organised so we can take a good look at your art. Please don't include unfinished pieces unless you clearly state it, and although backgrounds are not a necessity, it is greatly appreciated and will be taken into consideration. Even if it's just one piece. Please don't share old artwork unless you are certain you will be able to recreate it, fresh and newer art is recommended, so we can see how your style and technique currently looks like! Preferably show us pieces with Yoongi, but it's not mandatory.
writers you can link your AO3 account, your Twitter thread or a google drive folder. We ask for at least 2 finished SFW works. You can include as many as you want, and it doesn't have to be Yoongi focused, but it is highly appreciated. We will be looking at your skills to develop and complete a story, as well as character development and fluidity of your work. For the Zine, you will need to make a 3k short story that has a closed ending. Only SFW stories with no romantic tones.
merch artists, we ask you to provide a portfolio and to include some merch items you have designed before. We will most likely include prints and/or photocards, so feel free to just apply to those if you don't have any other type of merch. You can choose the type of merch, first come first serve, unless you choose different options, in where we will assign you what to do depending on other participant's answers.
Please make sure you only share SFW portfolios with us, and if you really want to include an NSFW creation, make sure to tell us when you submit your application.

Daechwita is a Zine focused on AgustD's recent MV titled with the same name. We want to highlight Yoongi as a king in traditional Korean attire. We want to make this Zine to appreciate Yoongi's amazing work. Telling different stories as he did in his mixtape.

No! We want to make this Zine full of people that apply
IF I APPLY AND GET IN THE ZINE, WILL I GET A FREE COPY OF THE ZINE?
Yes, that's our goal! If we manage to make enough sales we will make sure to provide everyone with a physical copy of the zine. If we do not meet our goal, THE money will be split between all participants and you will get a PDF ver. of Daechwita.

You just need to apply again, we will take a look into your last sent application, you can also add a comment in your application saying what was the mistake so we are aware of it.

Hello guys, I'm admin Sam also known as @caramelburangi on twitter. I decided to make this Zine because Yoongi is one of my biggest inspirations, and his mixtape brought light to these dark times. I've been an ARMY since debut, and my biases are Yoongi and Jimin. My favourite era is 화양연화 and one of my favourite songs are 134340 and People.
As for my experience, I've studied two years of English literature at University, I'm currently looking forward to studying a Major in Korean literature. I'm also a graduate in pet grooming and work part-time as one.
I'm a mod in the You Know I know YM Zine, and I'm a contributor in many other zines. I've been drawing since I was very young, as my mom majored in Arts. I started posting my art online in 2013 and I've been drawing BTS since 2014.
I've also partaken in Secret Santa events and giving out freebies at the Love Yourself BTS Concert. I've also helped with fan projects of other K-pop groups in my country.

Hello everyone! I am Mod Alex, @thebanddragon on Twitter and AO3, Yoongi's music has inspired me to work harder and believe in myself, so it means a lot to be able to participate in this zine. I have been writing for a very long time but just about seven years ago I started doing it in English. As for my education, I have a degree in Asian and African Studies. I am currently an Admin for the Demon Zine, (please, check that out as well!) and I have been part of many fan projects like Secret Santa or art collaborations, I am looking forward to meeting amazing creators through this Zine! This zine will be sold only through bigcartel, any other sites that promote the selling of this zine do not belong to our team in any way or form. We will not be held accountable for scamming that could possibly happen through other sites.
This zine offers ONLY tracked shipping to ensure that ALL orders get delivered. Every purchase will receive a tracking code through e-mail and the buyer will be able to watch their order transit. The team will not be responsible for any damaged orders, as we cannot control the packages during its shipping period. We will also not take responsibility for the time a package might take, due to the current covid-19 situation we cannot ensure that packages will get to their destinations in less than a month.
